NYCER Seafood along with its partners have strong local presence here in the USA, which gives us a seamless practical, and real time mean of business communication between the buyer and seller directly without the presence of the broker unlike some of our peers in Bangladesh who virtually has no presence in markets they are selling their products to.

DIRECT REAL TIME COMMUNICATION & ACCOUNTABILITY

Virtually the only mode of dealing with foreign importers here in Bangladesh is through “third party” brokers/agents. This is a very “expensive” proposition for both buyers and sellers. Fortunately because of our local presence in US, we have bridged the gap to our importers. Our local presence in USA gives the importers a sense of comfort and higher level of confidence. They feel enhanced confidence in our ability to offer seafood to them with quality, service, consistency, and transparency.

Bangladeshi exporters effectively have no local presence, advertising, and/or marketing campaign in the US. Whereas, Quantum Leap Group has a much better and cost effective sales and marketing presence through direct marketing, online marketing, print media marketing, etc.

INDEPTH KNOWEDGE OF THE US SEAFOOD INDUSTRY

Because of our in-depth knowledge and the ability to understand the US business culture (specifically of the seafood industry) first hand, its constant supply and demand for shrimp, the ever changing mindset of US seafood industry and its buyers, we are able to implement those core values in our dealing and export trading with them from Bangladesh immediately.

CHANGING FOREIGN BUYERS’ ATTITUDE

The reality of the matter is that our foreign counterparts (e.g., buyers, importers) are not very thrilled dealing with Bangladeshi seafood exporters, and processors. That’s why less and less importers are dealing for Bangladeshi seafood. As a result, majority of the existing processors/exporters are presently out-of-business in Bangladesh. And the ones that are currently doing business in US do not have the best of “industry brand recognition” due to their poor business dealing, mutual distrust, lack of quality and accountability, and their inability to honor commitments. At least, that’s what we have gathered in dealing with our US buyers. While the US seafood export quotas have significantly tripled, quadrupled over the last 5 years for other countries (like: Thailand, China, India, Mexico, Vietnam, Indonesia) it has not been the same for our Bangladeshi seafood export industry because of the “cheating” factor.

We do cost effective direct dealing, sales and marketing with the US importers which literally avoids highly expensive "multi-parties" brokers and agents. By avoiding these intermediaries and other suppliers, NYCER Seafood are able to export the shrimp at a very competitive pricing than the existing chain of exporters globally, who are to deal with the importers only through their sales agents (both in Bangladesh and USA).
